About Dr. Drew
Dr. Drew Pinsky is an American board-certified internist and addiction medicine specialist. He
is much more widely known in the U.S. as radio and TV personality "Dr. Drew", the co-host of
the nationally syndicated radio talk show, Loveline, which he has hosted since 1984. On
television he produces and hosts the VH1 show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and the MTV
show Sex...With Mom and Dad. In 2009 a spinoff of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew premiered
named Sober House.
As a medical doctor, Pinsky is Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, Medical Director for the Department of Chemical Dependency Services at Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, California, staff member at Huntington Memorial Hospital, and a private practitioner.
Over the past two decades, John Lee has conducted private and group sessions on a variety of issues working with men, women, couples and families. He lectures, gives workshops and trainings in over 40 cities each year, delivering sensitive, sophisticated material to audiences in a humorous and simple way everyone can understand. His lectures have been branded as "hilariously entertaining, deeply compassionate, yet filled with 'tell it like it is!'"
John served as a professor at the University of Texas and Alabama before becoming a writer, best-selling author, life coach and personal consultant. He lives with his wife in Alabama.
